Dr. Prosanto Chowdhury

Hi, I'm Dr. Prosanto. Practicing Medicine for 25 years. After completing my MBBS from the University of Burdwan in 1993, I did my M.Sc. in Haemoglobinopathy from UCL in 2012, FRMTS in 2014 and M. Phil. in Regenerative Medicine and Translational Sciences in 2017 from the School of Tropical Medicine, Kolkata.
To explore the scope of research in the area of Thalassemia management, specially drug HSC maturation and drug development , I have joined to the PhD program The topic of my Ph.D. is related to the Variation of the Ontogeny of Erythropoiesis in Haemoglobinopathies. I like cooking and painting in my spare time.

Hi, I am Dipankar, from Bankura. I did my masters in Zoology from The University of Burdwan. I have qualified GATE in 2015 and working on DBT sponsored research project - "A Genetic Algorithm-Based Targeted Approach for Understanding the Phenotypic Heterogeneity of Thalassemia Syndromes in Northern and Eastern Indian Population". I love to read story book in my free time.
Banani Majumdar

Hi, I am Banani, pursuing my research in the area of breast cancer . I did my masters in Zoology from The University of Burdwan in 2016. Currently I am working on a DBT funded project, entitled, "Study on the role of TLR-4 signaling in Breast Cancer Progression". Whenever I get a little free time, I like to pursue my hobbies of dancing and making handcrafts.
Upasana Bhattachatyya

Hi, I am Upasana, I did my Masters in Zoology from The University of Burdwan (2016-2018), and have qualified CSIR JRF (Dec. 2017, Jun. 2018). I am interested in Thalassemia research and am currently working with hematopoietic stem cells. My hobbies include music,reading books and travelling to new places.

Hi I am Rupesh. I completed my Masters in Zoology from Vidyasagar University (2016-2018) and qualified UGC JRF June 2019. Now I am working on Rare Genetic Disorder. In my free time I like to spend with mobile photography, listing music, watching movies and love to play Chess.
