Hi, I'm Dr. Prosanto. Practicing Medicine for 25 years. After  completing my MBBS from the University of Burdwan in 1993, I did  my M.Sc. in Haemoglobinopathy from UCL in 2012, FRMTS in 2014 and M. Phil. in Regenerative Medicine and Translational Sciences in 2017 from the School of Tropical Medicine, Kolkata.
To explore the scope of research in the area of Thalassemia management, specially drug HSC maturation and drug development ,  I have joined to the PhD program   The topic of my Ph.D. is related to the "Study on the effective hematopoiesis by augmenting agents as drug-able compound for Thalassemia treatment". I like cooking and painting in my spare time.

Hi, I am Barnali, doing research in the area of Breast Cancer Biology and the working topic is "Studies on the interaction between Immune cells and Cancer cells in Breast Cancer". I did my Masters in Zoology from The University of Burdwan and qualified CSIR-NET on 2016. I love to spend my free time with music. 

Hi, I am Banani, pursuing my research in the area of breast cancer . I did my masters in Zoology from The University of Burdwan in 2016. Currently I am working on "Studies on the crosstalk between Cancer cells and Stromal cells in Breast Cancer". Whenever I get a little free time, I like to pursue my hobbies of dancing and making handcrafts. 

Hi, I am Nibedita, a junior research fellow.  I have completed my Masters on Zoology from Burdwan University. Presently, I am working on "Gene expression profile in peripheral blood cells among Transfusion dependent and Non-transfusion dependent E-Beta thalassemia patients". I

like to listen music during my free time.

Hi, I am Upasana, I did my Masters in Zoology from The University of Burdwan (2016-2018), and have qualified CSIR JRF (Dec. 2017, Jun. 2018). I am interested in Thalassemia research and am currently working on "Methylation analysis on the erythroid differentiation genes of different types of Thalassemia". My hobbies include music,reading books and travelling to new places.

Hi, I am Debashis. I have qualified NET. I did my masters in Zoology from Bardhaman University. Currently working on DBT funded project  "Study of the uncommon variants in the beta globin gene cluster and modifier loci responsible for different categories of Thalassemia subjects". I love to play cricket.

Hi I am Rupesh. I completed my Masters in Zoology from Vidyasagar University (2016-2018) and qualified UGC JRF June 2019. Now I am working on "Understanding the mutational landscape for the commonly occurring rare genetic disorders in eastern Indian population". In my free time I like to spend with mobile photography, listing music, watching movies and love to play Chess.

Hi, I am Arunita, I did my Masters in Zoology from The University of North Bengal (2017-2019), and have qualified for UGC JRF in 2020. I am doing research in the area of Breast Cancer Biology and my working topic is "Exploration on effect of TIM3 in Breast Cancer progression". In my leisure time, I like to draw and write.
